Strangefruit
Strangefruit are a new and exciting concoction, fusing elements of rock, blues, jazz and dirty folk. Having played their first impromptu gig in Tokyo (supporting The Only Ones last May), Jenny, Jamie and Peter recruited Will Roberts (a versatile classical/jazz/rock drummer from Manchester whom Jenny met on the jazz scene) and the Strangefruit seeds were sewn. Recently described as ‘David Lynch meets Fairport Convention’ Strangefruit’s music will fill you with passion, beauty and the rare sense of spontaneity.
