Black Diamond Bay
Black Diamond Bay are a six piece live electro/house band straight out of Leeds. They combine instruments such as violins and acoustic guitars with an electric drum kit, synths, soaring harmonies and heavy basslines to produce a sound described as a 'seething, strutting motorik funk charge' by Music Guru, 'slick' by Mixmag and 'epic, atmospheric yet still delicately intimate' by MTV. They signed to London label Exceptional Records at the start of this year and have just released their third single 'Peace' ahead of an album 'I Dreamt We Were Bank Robbers' due for release in January.
