Lights
Lights formed in April 2009 after long lost friends Mark Bennett (guitar) and Tim Bentley (vocals/guitar) found each other again on Friend Face, and completed by towering Aussie Martyn Smith on bass and Stefan Melenawoski on drums. Influenced by Doves, Nick Cave, New Order, Godspeed You Black Emperor, My Bloody Valentine, Krautrock and Neil Young, Lights are regularly told they sound like none of these in particular. We hope this means we are honest and uncontrived.
