The Achilles
The Achilles are a 7-piece, primarily instrumental band. Musically, they bring a genre-defying fresh mix of sounds, drawing influence from Jazz, Rock, Drum and Bass, Electronica, Dub and soundscapes. Rob da Bank described them on his radio show as ‘Fantastic… like DJ Shadow but playing it live.’
They focus less on traditional pop music ethics but more on themes and movements that build to often epic and intense musical experiences with big sounds and provocative images.
