O-hum
O-hum was formed in Tehran\Iran in 1999. From their very first album their music was rejected by ERSHAD [The Ministry of Guidance] in Iran and since then the band has been banned from any official album release or live performance. So O-Hum launched their website in 2001 and quickly received a very huge feedback and welcome by Iranian and non-Iranian fans around the world. O-Hum's music is a mix of western rock music and Persian traditional music. By using Persian traditional instruments and using digital technology they've created a sound which has been influencing and inspiring many young musicians and bands since then. They are known as the pioneers of underground rock music in Iran. Original founding members Shahram [Vocal\Keyboard\Guitar\Laptop] and Shahrokh [Traditional instruments\Guitar] will perform their latest album "E-Hum: Remixes [1999/2009]" live on stage 27th July 2010 at Fandango club at The Bull & Gate.
