Ma.mentor have an interesting look and sound. For one, their drummer plays standing up and beats the kick drum with his right hand. The guitarist plays his axe and makes it sound like a synth. The singer, Boban Tran wears a top hat and croons like a member of the Followills family of Tennessee. All three members play their instruments differently and make it sound like something else, except the bassist: His Thunderbird bass guitar sounds like a thunderbird bass guitar.
