Console Wars
Console Wars are an alternative pop band from the UK. Formed in early 2008 whilst studying at UEA in Norwich, the band consists of Stephen Alexander (lead vocals/guitar/synth), Alexander Harton (backing vocals/guitar), Jack Barrington Stewart (bass), Anthony Hall (guitar/synth) and Jeremy Burnel (drums). The quintet gigged briefly under the name Voyagers before taking a year out to study abroad and to rethink the band’s image and sound. They reformed under the name Console Wars in late 2009 winning the Future Radio’s annual Next Big Thing competition, coming first out of 140 bands. As well as being featured on BBC Norfolk Introducing, they secured slots at two of city’s biggest venues and have their debut single launch planned for June 2010. They are currently signed to Milkbar Records.
