Robot Disaster Sick electropunk kids bringin' you stuff with a beat, stuff that's deep, and stuff that's danced to by the kids on the street. Robot Disaster have been mates and musical collaborators since school and have made a name for themselves on the West Midlands circuit playing electric club shows with bands such as Late of the Pier, Dan Le Sac, We Smoke Fags, Calvin Harris and many more. Expect angular, danceable guitars and soaring synth lines. Within 2 months of Robot Disaster's formation the band were quickly snapped up by hip indie label Gash Digital. Their first single 'Guitars are Overrated' was released in May 2009 with a 7 track remix compilation. The track was made single of the week on DMC Update, CMU Daily and was picked up by XFM, BBC6 & NME Radio. Next single ‘Boy’ will be released on Gash, along with another eclectic remix package, in November 2009. The track has received early support from Kissy Sell Out on his Radio 1 show.
