The Puncture Repair Kit
The Puncture Repair Kit are a six-piece band swinging precariously on a folky branch of the indie tree. Based in Cambridge and London, they play joyous, inventive, orchestral pop music. Their music gives shifty glances toward the likes of The Delgados, Arcade Fire and Belle & Sebastian. Since forming in 2007 the intrepid PRK have played to appreciative audiences as far afield as Chelmsford, Norwich and Lewes. In 2009 they released an EP called "The Sinking of the PRK" which everyone said had lovely sleeve art. Since then they've been secreting recordings in all sorts of nooks and crannies. One of these was unearthed by Towed by the Ghost Records and released as one half of a split single with Model Village in March 2011.
