Fraff
Fraff are London's original Artrockers who released their 3rd album back in 2002 and called it 'Artrocker'. Band members Tom and Paul went on to found The Artrocker Club, label and Magazine. The band has moved powerfully through the UK indie rock of of the 90's by releasing albums and singles on New York's Rainbow Quartz label, then accepted the moniker of 'Artrockers' with their 'Resist The Call to Rock' album on which Beefheart, Voidoids and Television were primal influences, and then proceeded to return to rock'n'roll garage-rock basics with 2004s 'Plastic Needs' on Artrocker Records. Back from hiatus now with a harder, heavy, 'non-resisting' 70s rock sound to match the Dead Meadow's and Black Mountain's of the US alt-rock scene today. Fraff today say Louder is the new Loud and Slower is the new Slow.
