Arthur & Martha
Arthur & Martha are a thrift store electro pop duo from London. By bringing together their rag-tag collection of moogs, melodicas and an antique drum-machine, they penned songs for the happy robots to dance to. The band's debut single 'Autovia' was described by the NME as "a British spin on The Postal Service, or Aphex Twin remixing the contents of NME's seminal 'C86' tape... more than worthy of your time" and they have shared the stage with such luminaries as Lo-Fi Fnk, Grovesnor, and Mahogany. A forthcoming ep and lp will be released in January 2009.
