The Locarnos
The Locarnos are four young whippersnappers who hail from the deepest, darkest depths of Somerset. This bunch of likely lads have been writing harmonious pop tunes since early 2006, and their debut single is out now on South West Recordings. Drawing on an eclectic mix of influences between the four of them, from David Bowie to Deep Purple, Cat the Dog to The Police, The Locarnos strive to make glorious, up-beat pop anthems with a slight suggestion of '80s electro pop.
