Grand Central were formed in March 2007 after Paul Aiden returned to London from a year in Australia and LA. Through an ad on the internet, drummer Dom Joseph was found, with bassist Jules Parker arriving via auditions. A handful of shows at the Dublin Castle and Soho Revue Bar ensued, with fourth member James McMaster drafted in to complete their sound on guitar and backing vocals. Paul‚Äö?Ñ?¥s experience working with producers Tony Hoffer (Beck, Air, Turin Brakes, The Kooks) and Carmen Rizzo (Coldplay) whilst out in LA undoubtedly helped shape the sound of what Grand Central was to become - wistful, upbeat soundtracks to every day life. With interest already coming from the UK music industry, it shouldn‚Äö?Ñ?¥t be too long before the band are signed up.
