The Peaks
The Peaks formed at the beginning of 2006. Theirs are epic, anthemic songs delivered with the self-assurance of a band who believe in what they create together. Not for them a tired whine from a rhyming dictionary. These are songs that come from the soul and from the heart - tales of loss, love, excess, heartbreak and happiness: euphoria from melancholia. Soaring vocal melodies which cut through like glass, chiming guitars with hooks that could kill - interwoven with darkened strings and piano, and glued together with pounding rhythms. This is a band aching to be heard. The Peaks release their debut single 'Lucky' in 2007 through iTunes.
