Gas Club are four Sheffield soldiers of fortune who've been banded together to make an assault on the music scene. They are the most unlikely of lads: a singer/songwriter and competent guitarist decided it would be a good idea to form a band with a kid with two chords under his belt (and I ain't talking trousers here) a bass player who only played guitar and a drummer who had only touched a piece of wood in his workshop. Anyhow they holed themselves up in a local bunker/rehearsal space for three months and created something like what you see and hear before you today. Lyrics dragged from the pit of the heart, catchy and contagious licks drilled together with driving beats and rhythm. Proper rhythm. So what‚Äö?Ñ?¥s next for the soldiers?
