The Mardous
The Mardous have just finished recording their debut album. They released their debut single 'Revolution over The Phone' (Poptones) in August '05 and were initially signed after Carl Barat persuaded Alan McGee to see them at his clubnight. They have enjoyed gigs supporting Babyshambles, Arctic Monkeys, Happy Mondays, The Paddingtons and The Cribs amongst others. Along the way people have said lovely things about them in the NME, iD Magazine, L'uomo (Italian Vogue), and the video to their debut single was playlisted on MTV2. In April 2006 Sarah Darling on XFM said 'I'm not allowed to have favourites... but this band won't be unsigned for long.'
