NATIONAL SERVICE (onstage 10.00pm) create tense, tersely modern alt.rock nuggets which nod at the buoyancy of Wild Beasts and the restlessness of Radiohead while bursting into manic sonic life at the most unexpected moments. Their 'Foreign Love' EP encapsulates that driving belligerence perfectly, revelling in the quartet’s honest vocals, dense harmonies and brooding hypnotic grooves.

FOUNDLINGS (onstage 9.15pm) are a South-East London/Brighton-based band who play melodic, guitar-driven, indie-rock music and were recently featured on Tom Robinson’s BBC Radio 6 Music show. The influences of the band range from Post-Punk (Echo and The Bunnymen, Siouxsie, PIL) and ‘80s/’90s Indie (Sleater–Kinney, The Wedding Present, Teenage Fanclub) to modern alternative jams, such as Parquet Courts, Courtney Barnett, Haley Bonar and Alvvays.

AMONG THE CITIZENS (onstage 8:30pm) are a hotly-tipped new act from the East of England establishing themselves as one of the most exciting young bands entering the indie/dreampop genre within the UK. Their track ‘Our Love’ was played on BBC Introducing Cambridgeshire as well as well as receiving BBC Introducing Norfolk track of the week. Following this the band’s track ‘Needy’ was played by Tom Robinson on 6music.
