THURSDAY JULY 19TH 2018
LONDON THE FINSBURY
(336 Green Lanes, London N4 1BY)
COBURN (onstage 9.45pm) is a singer-songwriter from North West London. Influenced by ‘90s Britpop, ‘60s soul and all things Beatles, he has fused a sound that is fresh and distinctively different from today’s bands. Sticking to his roots and without being tempted to hang onto the coattails of modern acts, the sound he has created has something for everyone. From the pain of heartache to the euphoria of life, Coburn is a must see live this summer.
SCROUNGE (onstage 9.00pm ) is Luke and Lucy. They are guitar, drums and a mic. “They’re capable of juddering the socks off your feet, and rocking you quietly into a cry-sleep alike.” – DIY Magazine
SUN DIALLER (onstage 8.15pm) is the new acoustic solo project from Andy Huxley (Piano Wire, Vile Imbeciles, The Eighties Matchbox B-line Disaster). This is Andy wilfully confining himself to his most fundamental setting, that of maverick songwriter and mystical storyteller.
