Once upon a sparkling moonbeam, in March 2001, Club Fandango gently hurled itself into the gig circuit limelight on a Tuesday night at the Dublin Castle in Camden Town. Eight and half years, 400+ shows and several dozen Wednesday morning hangovers later Club Fandango said farewell to the Dublin Castle on September 8th 2009 and is now launching a mighty pawful of new nights across North London in October.

The first of these new ventures kicks off on October 1st Upstairs at the Relentless Garage in Highbury. This Fandango event will take place on the first Thursday of each and every month, and the opening night features a stellar line-up of Fandango friends old, new and a bit older, rather like this:

The second of these new ventures kicks off on October 6th at the Buffalo Bar. Club Fandango is taking over the weekly Tuesday night slots and is kicking off with a special “It’s Great When You Curate…Yeah!” night which sees The Raveonettes take over the venue for the launch of their ace new album ‘In And Out Of Control’. The dynamic Danish duo have chosen the bands, handpicked the DJs and as well as a wee DJ set from themselves will also be hosting a playback of the entire ace new album ‘In And Out Of Control’ in the middle of the night.

The third of these new ventures kicks off on October 15th at the Monarch in Camden. Club Fandango will be promoting one show a month in this speedily rising and lovingly revamped venue, and that one night a month will take place on each and every third Thursday.
