** ALBERT GOLD WON’T ‘GIVE IN’! **
** SOUL MAN HEADS TO THE WAITING ROOM ON 30.08! **

Hackney soul boy Albert Gold celebrates the release of a brand new single called ‘Give In’ by hopping over the blood on the tracks, ie the A10 to Stoke Newington for a headline show at The Waiting Room, as per this information below.

‘Give In’ features up-and-coming electro producer Marble Empire, who will join Albert on The Waiting Room bill. A dizzying combination it is too, as ‘Give In’ is all-over-the-place in the best possible way, with sweethearted synths fuelling a chorus which positively gallops over the horizon.

MARBLE EMPIRE (onstage 8.45pm) is 21 year-old singer/songwriter/producer Matt Berry from North London. Berry is a multi-instrumentalist who writes and produces all his own material, which he describes as a blend of, “Gritty basslines, jazz harmony and guitar lines soaked in effects”. Influenced by the likes of Ben Khan, Jungle, SG Lewis and Frank Ocean, tentative early single releases last year quickly gained him much attention and saw Marble Empire feature in the BBC Introducing Top 30 for 2017.
