YES CADETS create enticing mix of sensual, reverb-drenched guitars and edgy, rhythmic art-pop. The Belfast-based trio began playing together in 2009, crafting a distinctive sound inspired by everyone from LCD Soundsystem and The Knife to The Cure and My Bloody Valentine.
They rapidly built-up a buzz due to their magnetic live performances, earning high profile festival slots across Europe (Glastonbury, MiDEM, Berlin Festival) and support slots with luminaries The Antlers, Yuck and Guillemots.
Brimming with atmospheric pop hooks and pulsing cinematic lament, the new Yes Cadets EP 'Le Mans' is available on October 8th though Humming Records/ Rough Trade, and includes the BBC 6music Rebel Playlist winning single 'Seconds In A Minute'.
