BORN BLONDE (10.15pm)
Born Blonde are five young men who make marginally trippy, fragrantly slippy alt.pop noises which are bighearted, but not stadium rock tarty. Brightlight City are five young men from Surrey who make shinily passive-aggressive terrace-trampling guitar anthems with rowdy choruses like 'The Others', as you may or may not expect from people who namecheck Idlewild, Pearl Jam and Yourcodenameis:milo in the very same sentence.
TALK IN CODE (8.45pm)
Talk in Code are - yes - fiveyoungmen who make (in their own words) stadium-ready dance rock. Check out the seriously screwy video for current single 'Face To Face' which stars Cody The Puppet living the boozejuice dream. Or is it a nightmare?
BUFFALO INK (8.00pm)
Buffalo Ink are five young - hang on a minute! No they aren't! They is a duo from South London who blend glitchily danceable beats with layered loops and, apparently, triple xxx guitar riffs. They have just released the 'Your Head Is My Head' single which is fierce and fiesty pop meatballs with another screwy video quite possibly lurking somewhere over at
