Busdriver is supporting the release his seventh album 'Beaus$Eros'. The indie-rap trailblazer forgoes the lightning-speed rhyming that defined his style in favour of a diverse, off-kilter brand of pop and post-hip-hop. Called "as technically impressive an MC can get" by Pitchfork, Busdriver has recently worked with the esteemed likes of Flying Lotus, Modeselektor and Nosaj Thing, the production on 'Beaus$Eros' takes root in beat music, lush IDM and synth pop.
KITTY COWELL - 8:30pm
Kitty Cowell is a rap/electro artist hailing from the Midlands via London and Paris and now living in South Wales. She comes from a long background in music and has worked with people like Basement Jaxx and Hed Kandi, toured with Lady Sovereign and played shows with the likes of Akil (Jurassic 5), Charlie Sloth (Radio 1xtra), Example and N Dubz. In 2006 french DJ/producer ‘DJ Kaio’ discovered Kitty rapping outside a club while on holiday in Greece. He soon invited Kitty over to Paris where the pair recorded demos and started off Kitty’s professional career in music.
