SISSY & THE BLISTERS - 09.30PM
Think The Strokes on a budget of thruppence and a diet of manic pop dreams. Vintage Vox organ-tastic rock 'n' rollers, Sissy & The Blisters new video for 'Let Her Go' (which comes out 3 October on fierce panda), is up and running, and gaining lots of online attention. Check it out here

Four young men from Otley, West Yorkshire. They consist of Coyle Girelli (vocals), Mat Steel (guitar), Jon Langford (bass) and Mal Taylor (drums). THE CHEVIN is pronounced ‘The Shev-In'. Fans of the West Yorkshire tourist board are already sure to know that The Chevin is also name of the hill which surrounds the band’s hometown.

O'MESSY LIFE - 08.00PM
o-messylife.tumblr.com This band have gained a reputation as one of Newcastle’s most exhilarating and unquantifiable bands, following three self-released EPs over the last two years which have received widesprad critical acclaim. Drowned In Sound called them a "loose-limbed, meandering, wonderful example of what happens when a band truly doesn’t give a fuck about genres." New single 'Escape Velocity' - out on 17th October - is an enormously infectious slice of rock bounce which harnesses the riotous spirit of Titus Andronicus (a band with whom O’Messy Life have shared a bill) and is one of the catchiest songs you'll hear all year.
