14th November 2007
Artist Profile »

So there was this band Gallon Drunk whom indie kids of the '90s will remember fondly. Gallon Drunk's unique brand of sleazy, stripped down rock & roll clearly inspired the likes of PJ Harvey, Yeah Yeah Yeah's and Jon Spencer. Following the rapturous reception of their series of CD reissues earlier in 2007, Gallon Drunk return with their startling new album The Rotten Mile on FRED (label) records.

Following on from sold out shows at The Luminaire and Dingwalls, the furious live force which is Gallon Drunk have been confirmed as headliners for the next Fandango/BBC 6 Music show (curated by Nemone) at the Borderline on Nov 29th. Support comes from Dennis Hopper Choppers and others TBC. Tickets are the low low price of ¬¨£6, otherwise it's ¬¨£7 on the door.
