We Start Fires are an all-guns-blazing electro-indie-punk outfit set to take the world by storm. The band's infectious debut single 'Strut' was produced by James Ford (Test Icicles / Mystery Jets) and released on racy red 7in vinyl on independent label Marquis Cha Cha - home of Sheffield‚Äö?Ñ????ë?¬•s Bromheads Jacket. Adored by Zane Lowe, Rob Da Bank, Steve Lamacq, Mark Riley and John Kennedy, 'Strut' caused a fuss on the airwaves this summer. The first 500 copies sold so quickly that within a week of its release the single went into its second pressing, this time on electric blue vinyl. Following a show at Madame Jo Jos in London, We Start Fires were hand picked as main support to Nine Black Alps on their August tour, by singer / guitarist Sam Forest. The band played seven sold out shows across the UK, winning over a host of new fans and having their photos taken with eager teenage boys.
