Monster Bobby
Monster Bobby hidden hand of the scene in Brighton and New Cross for
the best part of ten years, Pipettes guitarist and conceptechnician,
sometime collaborator (in the WWII sense) with the Tenderfoot and the
Electric Soft Parade, occasional DJ for British Sea Power and The
Customers. A songsmith by trade and amateur electronics enthusiast,
Bobby's music has been compared, on Drownedinsound.com, to a cross between
Jeffrey Lewis and Manitoba/Caribou but his chie interest is in a
certain lineage of oddball singer-songwriters, stretching from Noel
Coward to Thomas truax, via Leonard Cohen, Wreckless Eric and Arthus
Russell.
