Up Down Go Machine weave punchy but delicate folk melodies around their stripped back, acoustic-led sound. Catchy percussive elements add a rhythmic vibe which propels the sound into something more interactive and energetic. The songs are unashamedly heartfelt and direct, with strong nods to Mumford & Sons and Ben Howard, but never stray too far from their homegrown Celtic roots.
