Shock Horror!
Shock Horror! is a London-based two piece consisting of Mat Motte (previously of Mower), who owns a guitar, and Christian Gabriel, who stole a set of drumsticks once and likes asking favours. Summoning back the days of sickly-scented function rooms, homemade band t-shirts and ironic young punters injuring themselves over non-violent lyrics - it's a concoction of shouty, hangover-influenced exclamations with a dose of discordance and tinnitus-flavoured crescendos leaving aftertastes of Sabbath, Fugazi and that unlabelled cassette tape at the charity shop which nobody ever seems to buy. Refreshing yet musty, get swirled around and spat back out by it.
