Labasheeda
Labasheeda formed in Amsterdam in 2004, a four-piece led by singer/guitarist/violinist Saskia van der Giessen. Labasheeda plays an honest and raw type of indie rock, blending poppy melodies with bursts of noise, distorted violin solos with striking, expressive vocals. The band upped sticks to London in 2007 and recently released an album called ‘A Few of a Population’ on Presto Chango Records.
