Lonely Weekend
Lonely Weekend have a story. "In the early months of '95 there was once a little tea boy. He worked for 4 days in Seattle, making tea at Bad Animals Studio. He loved making tea. He made tea with a passion only matched by the bands and their own devotion to the music that they recorded in the very same studio. You could believe he was given these specific days work by strong spiritual forces, or you could believe he was given the job by man who ran the place, who as it happens also thought every year, it would be good to give something back to the city, and for one week in December, be Santa at the shopping mall. During these four days the boy was inspired by a musician called Neil Young who was recording with a band going by the name of Pearl Jam. The boy put down his teapot and cups to formed a band and it was the best! He named his band Lonely Weekend. Now not all of this story maybe true, but Lonely Weekend are definitely inspired by Neil Young and Pearl Jam."
