Remedy was created out of a love for '70s rock music and a shared disappointment at today's 'disposable' attitude to music and the lack of thought and passion wrote into chart standards. Our aim is to bring back rock as an 'event', something with long-levity. Somewhere along the line we lost the secret to writing music that mattered, music that would be listened to for generations afterwards - Led Zep, Aerosmith, Rolling Stones. Which bands today last for as long as their heroes? "We intend to go all the way. Remedy are the breakthrough band in bringing back to life that which has been lost, the secret formula to timeless songs. We've taken the best influences from the 60's, 70's and 80's and mixed them with favourites from our own generation to produce a balanced sound that's fresh and yet somehow wizened. Each band member brings to the table their own element, vital to the 'whole' creating music that is always changing, experiments with different styles, dynamically hard-hitting, but is recognisably the same rock band through and through.
