The Refuseniks is not just a band name, but a statement of intent. 'We refuse to sit down and watch the world pass us by. We refuse to sink quietly into the background without attempting to get into your consciousness. We refuse to be simple voyeurs in life, rather to observe as much as we can and interact in the best way possible. Life is too short for us to allow ourselves to be a product of our environment. We intend to make our environment a product of ourselves. We hope you will accept our invitation to refuse these things too and join our quest for something better. We have played gigs in Ireland, England, Paris and New York. We are currently rehearsing following a line-up change since a relocation from Ireland. We intend to record new songs in the coming weeks which we will make available on Myspace.'
