The Crissars
The Crissars came into being in the summer of 2008. Guitarist and Backing Vocalist, Josh Dally, joined the existing line up of James Keo (Lead vocals and Rhythm Guitar), Paul Anspach (Bass) and Max Revell (Drums). With the new sound came the new name, which stems from the Jamaican slang term 'Crissar' meaning "brand-new". James and Max have known each other since the age of three, drifting in and out of each others paths but eventually formed the band whose hometown is around Epsom and Leatherhead. Paul came via another band, they then spent a couple of years playing around South London doing demos and trying to work it all out. The original trio (The Quick 50s) felt that although they seemed to be able to write good songs there was always something missing. After deciding that an extra guitarist would complete the bands sound it was almost fate that James ran into his old mate Josh who said that he would love to get involved and upon meeting the rest of the band naturally fitted in.
