Raphaels set out a clear path with their debut single 'Charming Man' - The Libertines-esque camaraderie comes across brilliantly in the single, which stormed the UK indie chart in March, going straight in at No 4. What also sets them apart is the quirky vitriol which has fueled the hype surrounding their debut release, and which has packed every one of their first 18 shows. They have earned comparisons with both The Specials and The Kinks (Sandman/High Voltage), no mean achievement considering their rapid rise to prominence - and if this is anything to go by they will be all over the airwaves in the next six months.
