Revere
Revere incorporate a barrage of stunning visuals for live performance and using a multitude of instruments, creating a dramatic multi-layered, orchestral sound-scape, moving from tiny music-box openings through heart-wrenching melodies to cacophonous finales. With the 8-piece line up evolving over the last few years, and with an alumni that includes Rachel Unthank, Tom Monger (Florence & The Machine) and Caroline Barber (Mogwai), Revere gives hints of gypsy songs, funeral marches, klezmer, post-rock and gospel, with a sound described as "epic widescreen melancholia" by Neil McCormick of The Telegraph.
