Death Can Dance are a unique blend of pop, rock and indie music. With an album shifting thousands in Japan and a hotly anticipated EP just released online worldwide, it's only a matter of time before these young boys from London explode onto a scene where many of their school's alumni already have made rather large dents (Dido, Gavin Rossdale of Bush and Mika). In talks with Major labels and management groups in the UK and USA, the band haven‚Äö?Ñ?¥t signed anything yet, opting to approach the next 6 months in DIY fashion before taking the next step. They were also the first band to be sponsored by Californian Clothing geniuses 'Modern Mischief' also now home to Lostprophets, Bedlight For Blue Eyes, The Devil Wears Prada, The Pact, The Blackout and New Harbour. The latest installment in this crazy ride is the new found support of French music video director extraodinaire, MTV and Grammy Award winning, Alex Courtes. Famous for his work on iconic videos such as White Stripes '7 Nation Army', U2's 'Vertigo' and Kasabian's 'Shoot the Runner', Alex has offered his service to the band for free on hearing the mind-blowing track 'Dr.King', soon to be mixed with a producer to be named and released as the band's single through their own label in September.
