Twilight Robin
Twilight Robin are a Manchester-bred quartet that emerged on the scene in late 2006. Unlike the Britpop acts that are usually associated with Manc bands, this band has caused a stir with their fresh sounds and ambitious song writing. With their set crammed full of great snappy hooks and instantly catchy choruses, it wasn't long before word spread about this band's ability to leave audiences moved after coming to one of their shows. These audiences spoke and word spread some more and within six months of being together the band had been reviewed by Manchester's High Voltage record label (The Whip / The KBC), who voted their demo Best Demo in March this year. Following on from that success, the band has since caught the attention of XFM DJ Clint Boon who has recently played their track 'Two Sides' on his show, describing the band as a "belting example of what good quality unsigned music is kicking about these days!" The band went on to win the listeners vote for the best unsigned band that week on XFM. Now Twilight Robin is embarking on a wee tour of Scotland and London on the back of recording their first EP 'So Close'.
