The Alones
The Alones are a band from Stoke-on-Trent. The world doesn‚Äö?Ñ?¥t need more four-piece, punk-pop, three-minute merchants, and so their moniker is quite fitting in that they‚Äö?Ñ?¥re not remotely interested in re-inventing the Television-come-Clash wheel. It‚Äö?Ñ?¥s worth setting sights high with influences from U2 to Oasis but The Alones have a sound to match the rousing power of both. And in singer/ songwriter Stuart Whiston they've got the next great voice and the next great face behind the next great songs of British music. The Alones have been touring with You Say Party! We Say Die!
