Meeky Rosie
Meeky Rosie formed in Plymouth, but now call Exeter their home. Their songs range from the intimate to the epic, from delicate folksy finga pickin' to brutal guitar thrash. Local press has described their music as 'sweeping melancholic soundscapes', and being 'truly wonderful', which is rather nice of them. The band have been recording their debut album with Max Heyes (Doves, Primal Scream), down on the river Dart, and are currently putting the finishing touches to a few songs after mixing some of the tracks with Alan Moulder (Killers, My Bloody Valentine, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Smashing Pumpkins), and Tchad Blake (Dandy Warhols, Tom Waits).
