The Strollers
The Strollers are four young men from a lifeless little town in the middle of England. They say familiarity breeds contempt, which is a bit unfortunate as The Strollers have lived here all their lives. They've previously supported Snow Patrol, The Ordinary Boys and Delays. 'Our songs are not borne out of technique and skill but out of passion. We are not art school. We are not ironic. We are not Franz Ferdinand. It is not shameful to be ambitious. Some people look down their noses at bands who want to be famous and to make money. Those people can look down their noses at us. One day I hope to be giving them the v-sign from a glossy magazine printed on ten pound notes.'
