Ormondroyd make lovely, drawn out pop sounds in the vein of Galaxie 500, Low and The Delgados. This is their debut gig in the inner sanctum of North London, having done the rounds of their native Sheffield and similarly-localed locales. The band‚Äö?Ñ????ë?¬•s latest demos brought cooing sounds from many, and Teletext's Planet Sound bestowed them the words ‚Äö?Ñ????ë??demo of the year‚Äö?Ñ????ë?¬•. Which is mighty praise indeed.
