Burning Alms consist of former members of Calories and Distophia, Burning Alms is Thomas Mark Whitfield and John Biggs. Describing their sound as “feedback-drenched, jazz chord genius”, modesty is not the bands’ strong point but angular, moving guitar music maybe.
